"Celebrity was nothing I enjoyed, and it prompted me to become the mumbling recluse I am. When I started writing comics, 'comics writer' was the most obscure job in the world! If I wanted to be a celebrity, I would have become a moody English screen actor."

Too." --Nobius Black And this is what comics are for: I can't wait to get a hold of it. The idea of writing a manga form biograpy about the evolution of Aikido appeals to me more each day. I just started a blog for the books I've read. It's pictures and comments. Let's start a conversation. Check it out: Constant: A Reader's BLOG. The books I've read. I must then stand behind his form And so cut the enemy down." -- Morihei Ueshiba, founder of Aikido "Destiny is not a matter of chance, it's a matter of choice; it's not a thing to be waited for, but a thing to be achieved." --William Jennings Bryan I still try to keep my head up as I battle anxiety/depression again. Broke out with a shingles type stress rash for the first time. Itches like a mug. Stress will kill you. Why is that when I smoked a pack a day I was so much more healthier? But now that I've lost eighty five pounds, take anti-anxiety meds, quit the habbit, practice martial arts, get a promotion, etc. I'm falling apart? Clearly, I'm past my prime. I know you all are tired of hearing my whining. The future is falling into yesterdays. All I know how to do about it is write bad poetry. -posted by Nobius 4:46 AM # Comments (2) Monday, October 10, 2005Sunday, October 09, 2005Look/ListenSeth Godin is a mastermind. So is Manson. Surrealism is a style in which fantastical visual imagery from the subconscious mind is used with no intention of making the work logically comprehensible. -posted by Nobius 1:09 PM # Comments (0) Project MUSE
Project MUSE a scholarly journal database. Enjoy this tidbit regarding Emily Dickinson's whose poems have sometimes been marketed as literature for children, a publishing tactic that not only de-claws her but excises her sharper lyrics.
