I've heard the people who do best with self-publishing are the ones who write nonfiction, then tour with their books giving lectures to book groups or their target audience.
Grant, I'd say that's about right. I always thought being a publisher would be a hell of a lot of fun though whether it's my stuff or other people's I'd be publishing.
