Mrs. B got ol' Nobius the new Metallica album "St. Anger" for Xmas. It has gotten poor reviews all the way around. Never fucking listen to critics. James and the boys got the angry thing down good as they return to a style of yester-year from the hay day of metal. I really had thought they'd lost their balls much less their edge but this record contains no fluff. It's driving mean while sounding like something recorded in a garage! Less polished, more pissed off, way to go Metallica--it works for them! Gonna rank this with my two other favorite Metallica albums: "And Justice for All" and "Garage Days Re-revisited."

No, it's not a bioterror alert, it's ANTHRAX the band. And they're re-recording tracks from their early albums with their long time current singer John Bush. Great concept, vote now on what songs should appear on the album. My vote went to "Belly of the Beast" and "Got the Time". Old school metal lives, thank God.

Dear Santa,

There really isn't much I want under the tree this year. Just something from my past that I can't seem to live without. I've been a really good boy, all proper and stuff. Please put my Daddy under the tree behind all the big presents so I'll be really surprised. I want to let out a little scream when I open him you know. He'll be a little hard to wrap, and a bit big to fit under the tree, but I've waited so long and I've been so good. I promise to show him to all my friends. I'll take good care of him.

I actually found this well written BLOG while using GOOGLE to see if anyone had archived a BAD SIGNAL I am missing. Check out the exerpts below:

I'm 3 days into my vacation and I have the flu. The kids have the flu and so does the wife. On Friday, both are cars were undrivable. In February when I took vacation, we got hit by a winter storm that crippled the Cleveland airport. We were there waiting on a flight. I am archiving this article only to remind of my dream of academia. At one point, I wanted to be a professor. I dream of finishing that education, and soon the time will come to make the dream reality.

This is a piece of an email I wrote, an idea is calling for fruition:

"I must say though I've outlined some ideas for the one about the mirror. I didn't get a short story out of it, I am getting the idea for a comic from it. It involves a little tangle of three--Jeckyl, Hyde, and Little Missy Jekyl (only 5 years old) In the story someone always keeps their back to the mirror, someone hates, and still another's only wish is for Daddy to play with her like he used to. Because to be Jeckyll is to be Hyde....:)"
