"Act decidedly and take the consequences. No good is ever done by hesitation." --Thomas Henry Huxley
How many of you can relate? It seems I love to read nearly everything I get my hands on, sometimes I wish the ingredient labels on candy bars were just a little bigger, it hurts my eyes to read. I find myself frequently distracted by the corporate library that's only about fifty feet from my office at work. Today, I read an interesting pamphlet from The Growth Fund of America--the highpoint of which talked about how they investigate their various markets and investments. I knocked off another twenty pages of the latest Legion of the Damned book For Those Who Fell. It's Star Wars on steroids. Nonstop action and rush. I'm half way done with The Toyota Way. It's a fascinating look at the inventor of lean. I can only wonder if such a company really exists or is this propaganda? Innovative, profitable, common sense with caring...can a corporate mold really be that good? Received Dirt #2 in the mail. Simply phenomenal. The Endwar article blew my socks off. I'll review it in more detail in an upcoming zine of mine but minimalist poetry really appeals to me. It's a style I'm starting to emulate myself yet with my own unique twists and interpretation. Poetry is from God. So, is inspiration. More soon. Now tell me, what are you reading? And what have you been up too? Oh yeah, and where are all the bodies? Out. -posted by Nobius 2:30 PM #

I'm reading Souled American: How Black Music Transformed White Culture by Kevin Phinney. Very interesting, and kind of ties in with my zine in the upcoming mailing. "

What have I been up to? I was offered a job at Amazon as an "Item Review Specialist" last week and I accepted it. I start Dec. 5 and will work there for six months. I can still receive my disability checks for the first nine months I work too, so it should be OK financially for awhile. Now I can pay off my hospital and doctor bills. 8-/ See ya in AC. Steve

Good for you! Will you be working in your area? Will you be working from home? I didn't submit to AC this time. Not that I don't have things or didn't want to but I've kind of been down about the lack of participation in it lately. Since Andrew is stepping down, I wonder who will run for CM? Anyway, I love AC and have plenty of things for the ANNISH but we really needs more members or more "interested" members at least. It's not about quanity necessarily but definitely quality. Looking foward to your zine man, let me know how your job goes!
Get a good pocket magnifier or else some reading glasses from the drugstore! Don't make your eyes worse, buddy! You don't want to go blind before you get old!!! "
