Best Resumes for People Without a Four-Year Degree. Gotten some good advice so far. The best piece being to stop feeling guilty that you don't have a degree. A resume for someone like me should focus on skills and accomplishment. And that's exactly what it will do, when I rewrite it.
I'm thinking about putting up an online version of my resume as well as possibly becoming a professional resume writer.
One of the big things brewing in my mind is that I could have more than one part time job and ditch the full time gig. It's amazing how many people I've met who have done this and most of them are very entrepreneurial. I know one lady who has been a singer, writer, publisher, web master, administrative assistant, e-bay professional, teacher, sales person, missionary, and real estate agent. She's done several of these at once and still is. Her husband has done similar and is currently a martial arts teacher and self employed computer repairman/guru.
Later, I'll post about an accelerated copywriting program that I may sign up for. It even includes a job placement program that claims to have placed over 90% of graduates from the program.
