I hate drugs. But I find this
editorial regarding the shifting attitudes about pot to be fascinating.
The bottom line is this: Governments can not legislate morality. Didn't anyone learn from American prohibition?
I'm not at all sold on advocates claims that marijuana is safer than alcohol, etc. However, in a free society, an adult should be able to do as they please. It's their life. Their choice. No matter how good or bad that choice is, as long as they aren't hurting anyone else, leave them alone.
